I have pretty severe anxiety attacks. Are there any mental or physical tricks that can help (without medication)?
| | | Anxiety attacks are terribly uncomfortable. A better understanding of what they are and why they occur can help you get better control of them. Essentially, they're a sign that your body's anxiety alarm bells aren't working correctly. Your body reacts as if you're in a life or death situation at times when you're completely safe. Fortunately, learning how to control your cognitive and physiological responses can help reduce the severity and frequency of panic attacks. Here are some things that can help you manage your panic attacks better. | | | | | You are receiving this newsletter because you subscribed to the Healthy Mind newsletter.
