But the key to feeling better, is to face your fears one small step at a time. Create a goal for yourself, like talking to one new person each day. Make it a challenging goal, but not so challenging that you'll talk yourself out of it. Then, write down all the reasons why it's important to make new friends and how you're certain you can do it. Read over that list whenever you're doubting yourself and with consistent effort, you can expand your social circle.
